Norwegian-Romanian Black Metal Band Kogaion Announces Limited Vinyl Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Kogaion, a Norwegian-Romanian symphonic black metal band, has announced a limited vinyl edition of its debut album, Echoes of Black Silk Angels. The release is limited to 100 individually numbered copies, offering collectors and fans a physical edition of the band's first full-length recording.
Originally released in 2026 on digital streaming platforms and Bandcamp, Echoes of Black Silk Angels features thirteen original compositions that combine symphonic arrangements with atmospheric black metal. The album explores themes inspired by Nordic traditions, Carpathian mythology, and dark atmospheric storytelling.
The vinyl edition has been designed as a collectible release. Each copy is individually numbered and includes artwork created specifically for the physical format while preserving the visual identity established with the digital release.
According to the band, the decision to produce a limited pressing reflects a continued appreciation for physical media within the underground metal community. Rather than producing a large commercial run, Kogaion chose a smaller edition intended for listeners who value vinyl as both a listening format and a collectible.
The release represents another step in the band's development following the debut of Echoes of Black Silk Angels. Kogaion continues to focus on combining orchestral elements, black metal, and cinematic composition while preparing future material.
