HOUSTON, Texas — Synectus announces the launch of InjuryDesk, its workflow management software developed specifically for Texas personal injury (PI) clinics. InjuryDesk is designed to bring essential clinic-side administrative workflows together in one organized platform.
Personal injury clinics manage multiple administrative responsibilities throughout a patient's treatment journey. These include patient intake, appointment scheduling, Letters of Protection (LOPs), attorney documentation, medical records, billing coordination, and case status tracking. Managing these activities across disconnected systems can make it difficult for clinic teams to maintain documentation, monitor outstanding tasks, and coordinate daily operations.
A Workflow Solution Designed for Personal Injury Clinics
InjuryDesk focuses on the operational requirements of treating clinics rather than law firm case management. Its purpose is to help clinic teams organize patient-related information, documentation, billing activities, and attorney coordination.
The platform includes five core capabilities:
1. Patient Intake and Scheduling
InjuryDesk supports patient intake and appointment scheduling workflows, helping clinic teams organize incoming patient information and related administrative activities.
2. LOP and Attorney Document Management
The platform helps organize Letters of Protection, attorney correspondence, and supporting case documents. Each document can be tracked by status, assigned owner, and next action.
3. Medical Billing and Claims
InjuryDesk supports tracking of billing status, missing documentation, and claim-related dependencies, helping teams maintain visibility into outstanding billing workflows.
4. Case Status Tracking
Clinic teams can follow personal injury patient and case workflows from intake through treatment, billing, attorney coordination, and settlement milestones.
5. Reporting and Analytics
Reporting capabilities provide visibility into patient throughput, operational bottlenecks, billing performance, and workflow-related issues.
Flexible Deployment Options
Synectus offers two deployment options for InjuryDesk.
The software-only option is listed at $500–$1,500 per month and includes onboarding, integration, and ongoing support from Synectus.
The software-plus-managed-operations option combines InjuryDesk with operational support from the Synectus team. This can include patient intake, billing coordination, records management, and lien workflow assistance.
According to the product information published on the InjuryDesk website, most clinics are operational within two to three weeks. The onboarding process begins by mapping existing intake, billing, and attorney workflows before progressively bringing those processes into the platform.
Supporting Organized Clinic Operations
InjuryDesk describes a HIPAA-conscious operational approach that includes role-based access controls and scoped data visibility. These capabilities are intended to support structured access to clinic information and clearer ownership of administrative workflows.
By connecting patient intake, documentation, billing, and case tracking, InjuryDesk aims to help Texas personal injury clinics improve administrative visibility and coordinate their day-to-day operations.
