LUCKNOW, India — NovaX AI launched ShelfOne on June 15, 2026, introducing a retail management platform developed for businesses that need to manage billing, inventory, purchasing and customer transactions in one system. Development of the platform began on December 15, 2025.
ShelfOne was developed in response to a common operational problem identified during the product-development process: retail businesses often have to manage different parts of their daily operations through separate applications, spreadsheets or manual records. Billing, stock tracking, customer credit, purchasing and business reporting can consequently become disconnected from one another.
The development team at NovaX AI approached the problem by building these functions into a single retail software platform. The resulting system combines point-of-sale billing, inventory management, purchasing, supplier records, customer Khata, sales information and business reporting.
Since its launch, ShelfOne has surpassed 100 users. The platform is currently available through the ShelfOne website and the Microsoft Store, providing retailers with access to the software through web and desktop environments.
ShelfOne includes barcode scanning and thermal-printer support for point-of-sale operations. Its inventory functionality provides tools for maintaining product records and monitoring stock, while purchase and supplier functions allow businesses to record incoming goods and manage supplier-related information.
The platform also includes an AI-assisted inventory feature that uses sales and stock information to generate suggested reorder points. The feature is intended to provide information that can help retailers identify products approaching low-stock levels.
Another component of the platform is an offline point-of-sale mode. Billing operations can continue when an internet connection is unavailable, with information synchronized after connectivity is restored. The system also supports digital invoice sharing through WhatsApp.
“We started developing ShelfOne after looking closely at the day-to-day problems involved in running a retail operation. Billing, inventory, purchases and customer records are closely connected, but they are often handled separately. We wanted to build the workflow around that reality rather than treat each function as an isolated tool,” said Divyansh Shukla, founder and CEO of NovaX AI.
The launch of ShelfOne is part of NovaX AI's wider development of software and artificial intelligence products. The company was founded by Shukla in 2025 and has also developed NovaX GPT, an artificial intelligence platform, and AlphaGrad AI, an education technology platform.
For ShelfOne, the initial development period ran from December 15, 2025, to its public launch on June 15, 2026. The product has since continued development based on its retail-management use cases and user requirements.
The platform's current functionality covers point-of-sale billing, inventory, purchasing, customer management, supplier records, reporting and AI-assisted stock recommendations. With more than 100 users following its launch, ShelfOne is continuing development as a dedicated retail-management product within the NovaX AI portfolio.
