Independent Nigerian Artist Vignê Sets November 2026 Release for New R&B Single
Nigerian independent singer-songwriter Vignê will release her new R&B single, "Black and White," on November 13, 2026 through her label, Divigne Music. The track, written by Vignê, addresses romantic uncertainty and the experience of feeling like a partner's second choice. The announcement follows the May 22, 2026 release of her EP, Etherea The EP, and marks the next confirmed recording in her catalog.
Confirmed Details for the Single
"Black and White" is scheduled for digital release on November 13, 2026. The recording is an R&B song centered on emotional ambiguity in a relationship, according to Divigne Music. Vignê wrote the song, continuing a practice of self-penned material that has defined her independent output. The single will be available through standard digital music platforms on its release date.
The announcement was issued by Divigne Music, the independent label representing Vignê. No additional collaborators, producers, or featured artists have been confirmed for the single at this time. Further details regarding distribution and platform availability are expected to be handled through the label's standard release process.
Release Follows May 2026 EP
"Black and White" follows Etherea The EP, which was released on May 22, 2026. That project preceded the new single by approximately six months. The sequence places the single as the next formal release in Vignê's discography and maintains a schedule of multiple releases within the same calendar year.
Vignê is an independent Nigerian singer-songwriter who writes her own songs. Her work is positioned within the R&B genre, and her releases to date have been issued through Divigne Music. The label describes the forthcoming single as consistent with her established approach to songwriting and recording.
Independent Release Strategy
The release is being managed independently rather than through a major label. Independent releases of this kind typically rely on digital distribution, direct audience communication, and coverage from music journalists and entertainment editors. The target audience for the announcement includes R&B listeners, independent music industry professionals, and digital music audiences.
Divigne Music has not disclosed pre-release promotional plans, streaming exclusivity arrangements, or accompanying visual content for "Black and White." The label has confirmed only the release date, the title, the genre, and the thematic focus of the song.
