The gallery was founded by artist Aditya Kumar and has sold original paintings and signed limited-edition prints. The move extends the site from a single-artist gallery to a multi-artist platform.
How artist listings work
Artists register, request an artist portfolio, and wait for approval from the House of Arts team. Once approved, they can upload artworks, which are reviewed before publication. Reviews take 24 to 48 hours.
Each artist gets a profile page with a biography, social media links, and their listed works. Artists can make the page public or private and choose whether buyers may contact them directly.
The platform accepts original work only. Copies, AI-generated images, and prints are not allowed, with an exception for photography. Artists set one all-inclusive price, and buyers receive free shipping. Artists ship from their own studios and send a packing video and shipment details to the gallery before dispatch. Payment is released to the artist 15 days after delivery, which gives buyers time to raise any complaint about quality, size, or framing. House of Arts charges artists a 10 percent convenience fee on each delivered sale.
Curator program
Registered curators who are approved can create events and programs on the site, including exhibitions and workshops. The team reviews every event and program before it goes live, and only art-related events are approved. House of Arts charges no event fee. It lists events only, and hosts collect payment and run their events themselves.
"Many talented artists and curators in the region have no trustworthy place to show their work online," said Aditya Kumar, founder of House of Arts. "We review every profile, artwork, and event so that buyers and visitors can rely on what they see."
Availability
Artists and curators can apply through www.hoagallery.in. The gallery will answer applicants' questions through a help center on the site.
