Partix and Digikala signed a memorandum of understanding on October 1, 2026, in Iran to establish a framework for the online distribution of motorcycle parts. The agreement is intended to define the basis for cooperation between the two companies and to provide a structure for making motorcycle components available through an online sales channel.
The memorandum covers the proposed distribution of motorcycle parts supplied by Partix, including components for Honda, Yamaha and Modenas motorcycles. The companies have not announced detailed operational terms for the arrangement, such as the final product listing process, delivery procedures or the timetable for implementation.
The agreement forms part of changes taking place in the way motorcycle components are supplied to customers in Iran. Motorcycle parts have traditionally been distributed through wholesalers, physical retailers and regional representatives, while online marketplaces provide an additional channel for presenting products and processing orders. The memorandum addresses this online distribution channel without changing the existing wholesale structure described by Partix.
Partix imports motorcycle parts from Indonesia and distributes them in Iran. According to information provided by the company, its current operations include 149 listed products and representatives in nine locations: Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Kish, Qeshm, Bushehr, Abadan and Ilam. The company also reports approximately 65 employees across its operations and representative network.
Partix has stated that its wholesale activity generally involves orders with a minimum value of 500 million tomans. The company also reports that individual purchases associated with imports from Indonesia can exceed 20 billion tomans. These figures relate to its existing supply and wholesale activities and were not identified as financial terms of the memorandum with Digikala.
The memorandum was signed one day before Partix opened a location in Bandar Lengeh, Hormozgan, on October 2, 2026. The company said the two events are part of its current business activities in Iran, while the practical details of the Digikala arrangement remain subject to further implementation between the parties.
