HICKORY HILLS, Ill. — Chicago Flower Wall, an event décor rental company based in Hickory Hills, Illinois, has added LED dance floors to its rental inventory for events across the Chicago metropolitan area.
The LED dance floors are assembled from modular illuminated panels that form a lighted surface for dancing at indoor events. According to the company, the floors are intended for venues such as school gymnasiums, hotel ballrooms, and banquet halls. The company states the panels are installed before an event and removed afterward, with no permanent alteration to the venue.
Chicago Flower Wall reports the dance floors are available for school dances, including proms, homecoming dances, and winter formals, as well as weddings, quinceañeras, and corporate events. The company provides delivery, setup, and teardown of the dance floors as part of its rental service.
Lighted dance floors have become an increasingly common sight at school dances and wedding receptions in recent years, as event organizers look for ways to distinguish the dance portion of an evening program. For school events held in multipurpose spaces such as gymnasiums and cafeterias, organizers often rely on temporary décor and lighting to change the character of the room for a single night. Chicago Flower Wall states the addition of LED floors responds to requests from school activities staff and parent groups planning dances in the region.
"School event organizers have been asking for alternatives to the standard gym setup for homecoming and prom," said Ryan Thornton, owner of Chicago Flower Wall. "The LED floors give schools and wedding clients another option for the dance portion of the evening."
The LED floors join the company's existing rental catalog, which includes flower wall backdrops, photo booths, marquee letters, Chiavari chairs, portable bars, champagne walls, balloon arch backdrops, sweet carts, and wedding arch rentals. The company states the dance floors can be booked alongside other rental items for a single event.
Chicago Flower Wall is based in Hickory Hills, Illinois, and states its delivery and setup service covers the Chicago metropolitan area, including Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will, and Kendall counties. The company reports it is scheduling LED dance floor rentals for the current school dance season in addition to wedding and corporate event dates. Pricing information is available on request.
