SACRAMENTO, CA - Beats 4 Hope, a West Coast 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has organized The Sac Town Give Back 2026, a two-day community event designed to support Sacramento Loaves & Fishes on October 17-18, 2026. Legendary Bay Area rapper Rappin' 4-Tay, Adrian Marcel, and local artists including CJ Emulous, Johnny Gold, DJ Chris Palacio, Karega Bailey, Abs One, Chrisleohellyeah, DJ C Loswells, and Alex Mejia are volunteering their time and talent.
The first day of the event will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Drake's The Barn, located at 985 Riverfront Street in West Sacramento. The free, family-friendly event features live music, food, art, and face painting. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations including coats, hygiene kits, water, tents, tarps, toothbrushes, and socks for Sacramento's unhoused population. The event is expected to draw 500 or more participants.
On Sunday, October 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., all collected donations will be distributed directly to the unhoused community through Sacramento Loaves & Fishes' Pop Up Care Village at the Delany Lot. Sacramento Loaves & Fishes has served this population since 1983, providing approximately 800 meals daily in addition to hygiene facilities, medical care, and referrals to supportive services.
"Supporting the unhoused community is a public health imperative," said Monica Martines, co-founder of Beats 4 Hope. "When we ensure access to hygiene, shelter, and care, we strengthen our entire community."
Alex Mejia, co-founder, added: "Our artists recognized the need and stepped forward to make a difference in Sacramento."
