LOS ANGELES, CA — September 25, 2026 — Actor Butch Patrick, widely recognized for portraying Eddie Munster on the classic television series The Munsters, is joining the voice cast of The House on Halloween Hill, an upcoming animated feature from WonderWorks, the children's division of independent production company SoCal Cinema Studios.
The project is directed by Dustin Ferguson, founder of SoCal Cinema Studios. Public film listings currently identify Patrick alongside Vida Ghaffari, Jennifer Moriarty and August Kyss in the cast. Moriarty has also publicly announced her involvement with the project, identifying her character as Winnifred.
The House on Halloween Hill is being developed as an animated Halloween-themed production under the WonderWorks banner. WonderWorks was established by Ferguson in collaboration with filmmakers Ams Overton and Dirk De Wilde as a division of SoCal Cinema Studios focused on children's and family-oriented productions.
Patrick's casting adds an actor with a longstanding connection to television horror-comedy to the project. His work as Eddie Munster on The Munsters established a connection with Halloween and family-oriented genre entertainment that has continued through subsequent film and television appearances.
For Ferguson, the project expands the range of productions associated with SoCal Cinema Studios beyond its established independent genre-film work. The company has produced projects across horror, science fiction and related genres, while WonderWorks is being positioned separately for children's entertainment.
The film is also part of an expanding slate associated with the WonderWorks label. Moriarty has publicly indicated that she is involved not only with The House on Halloween Hill but also with a planned follow-up project titled A Cursed Christmas.
Distribution for the physical release is being handled through Allied Vaughn, with the retail DVD scheduled for October 8, 2026. Allied Vaughn has operated in the manufacture-on-demand home-video market, including releases supplied through third-party film and television catalogs.
The October DVD release places the film's initial physical-media availability within the 2026 Halloween season. The project is currently listed publicly as a 2026 film, with Ferguson credited as director and Patrick among the principal cast.
Further information concerning the film's story, additional cast and any future distribution arrangements can be announced by WonderWorks and SoCal Cinema Studios as production and release plans develop.
