BEIJING – Colorlight, a provider of LED display control and video processing systems, reported that its rental-stage solutions were used in more than 60 stadium-level concerts across China during the summer of 2026, with cumulative attendance exceeding 4 million, according to company figures.
The company's VX Series video processors were deployed in major tours by several prominent artists, including Joker Xue, Leehom Wang, Silence Wang, Phoenix Legend, and Jason Zhang. The tours took place in multiple cities, with venues including Beijing's National Stadium (Bird's Nest), Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center, Chengdu Dong'an Lake Stadium, and Changsha Helong Stadium.
Joker Xue's "King of All Beasts" tour ran from March through multiple cities, concluding with 12 shows at the Bird's Nest, totaling 697,000 attendees. The stage configuration included a 93m × 53m × 36m four-sided arena with a 5,600m² ring of transparent ice-LED screens and a 64m × 5m mechanical flip-screen.
Leehom Wang's "The Best Place II" tour held three consecutive nights at Hangzhou's "Big Lotus" stadium and three shows at Changsha Helong Stadium, selling 96,000 tickets and drawing over 100,000 fans. The stage featured a 120m curved mega-screen (2,400m²) and 1,400m² of floor-tile LEDs forming a circular runway.
Silence Wang's "Age of Romance" tour upgraded to full stadium scale, visiting Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, and Guangzhou, and closed with ten nights at the Bird's Nest. The production used an 80m-wide inward-curving rising screen with a 240° field of view, designed for naked-eye 3D effects, along with mechanical elements and panoramic audio.
Phoenix Legend's "Auspicious and Propitious" tour covered over a dozen cities, setting a new record for Chinese group tours. Single venues recorded up to 649,000 pre-registrations. The stage combined a 120m mega-screen and drone light arrays with traditional Chinese knot and landscape motifs, with visuals changing throughout the setlist.
Jason Zhang's "FUTURE·LIVE—Leave For 1982" tour included a 16-show run at the Bird's Nest, the largest solo tour of the year. Its stage design received a Gold award in Indoor Display at the 2026 French Design Awards. The production utilized over 10,000m² of LED screens in a four-sided arena. Additional shows are scheduled at Hangzhou Olympic Stadium (September), Zhengzhou Olympic Stadium (October), and Tianjin Olympic Stadium (November).
Colorlight's VX Series supports seamless switching across multiple 4K inputs and has a pixel capacity capable of driving displays exceeding 10,000m². The system uses 10G fiber-optic transmission for long-distance signal distribution. The company, founded in 2009, specializes in video-processing technology for LED applications and has executed approximately 3,000 live performance projects to date.
