ASDAV Introduces Live Professional Revit and BIM Course for Architecture and Interior Design Learners

The Asian School of Design and Applied Vastu (ASDAV) launches its flagship live Professional Revit & BIM Course on 15 August 2026. The program offers project-based training for architecture and interior design students, with 300+ enrollments.

Report

The Asian School of Design and Applied Vastu (ASDAV) has introduced its live Professional Revit and BIM Course, with the first batch scheduled to begin on 15 August 2026. The program is designed for architecture and interior design students, recent graduates, and professionals who want structured training in Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit.

Founded by architect and Vastu consultant Jasmine Ahluwalia, ASDAV is an online design education platform that offers industry focused courses in architecture, interior design, BIM, and Applied Vastu. According to the institution, more than 300 learners have enrolled in its programs.

Course Focus

The Professional Revit and BIM Course follows a live online learning format and combines instructor led sessions with practical assignments. The curriculum covers the complete Revit Architecture workflow, beginning with concept development and progressing through architectural modeling, documentation, scheduling, annotation, and project coordination.

Participants will work on project based exercises that reflect common architectural workflows, allowing them to understand how BIM is applied throughout the design and documentation process. The program is intended to help learners develop technical proficiency in Revit while becoming familiar with collaborative digital workflows used in architectural practice.

Addressing Changing Industry Requirements

Building Information Modeling has become a widely adopted process across the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Many architectural firms now use BIM for design development, construction documentation, coordination between disciplines, quantity estimation, and project management. As a result, Revit has become one of the most commonly used software platforms in professional architectural practice.

Commenting on the launch, Jasmine Ahluwalia, Founder of ASDAV, said:

"The architecture industry continues to move toward collaborative digital design and documentation through BIM. Our objective is to provide learners with structured, practical training that reflects how Revit is used in professional projects. By combining live instruction with project based learning, we aim to help students understand the complete BIM workflow rather than only individual software tools."

Practical Learning Approach

The course emphasizes applied learning through guided exercises and project based assignments instead of software demonstrations alone. Learners will develop BIM models, prepare construction documentation, create schedules, and understand documentation standards followed in architectural projects.

The curriculum is suitable for architecture students, interior designers, recent graduates, and professionals who want to strengthen their knowledge of BIM workflows or transition from traditional CAD based drafting to Building Information Modeling.

As digital design processes continue to become standard across the construction industry, educational programs that focus on practical BIM implementation are increasingly being adopted by students and professionals seeking to build technical expertise in architectural documentation and project delivery.
