STOKE-ON-TRENT, UK, 7 October 2026 – Redouble Digital Limited, an e-commerce marketing agency based in Staffordshire, has launched DropSnaps, a web-based service that collects photos and videos taken by guests at weddings and other events. The service went live in late September 2026. The company said it was developed to give hosts a single place to receive guests' photos and videos, which are otherwise typically shared through personal messaging groups after an event.
DropSnaps runs in a phone's web browser. Guests scan a QR code displayed at the venue and upload photos and videos without installing an app or creating an account. Uploads can be shown on a screen at the venue as a wall or slideshow, and organizers can download the original files after the event. Guests can also leave written messages in a digital guest book, which organizers can download as text or a spreadsheet.
"At many weddings, guests take photos on their own phones and the couple has to ask for them afterwards," said a DropSnaps spokesperson. "DropSnaps collects them during the event, without guests needing to install an app or create an account."
Privacy and moderation
Organizers can protect an event with a PIN, choose to approve uploads before they appear, and hide or delete any item. Every item shared on the service has a report button, and items reported as sexual content are hidden immediately while they are reviewed. Uploaded files are stored in Western Europe and are deleted automatically when an event's storage period ends.
Events beyond weddings
Alongside weddings, the service is designed for birthdays, work events, reunions, funerals and celebrations of life. Each new event starts with a set of tags suited to the occasion, such as "First dance" at a wedding, which guests can use to group their photos. A demonstration event with sample photos shows the guest page, wall and slideshow.
The service has a free tier for small gatherings and paid plans charged per event. Further information is available on the DropSnaps website.
The launch extends Redouble Digital's work beyond its client services. The company, which rebranded from DT Digital in 2025, provides website builds, advertising and digital marketing for e-commerce businesses.
