Goregaon (West), July 26, 2026 – On July 22, 2026, Quick Heal Foundation, in collaboration with Patkar-Varde College, successfully conducted a Cyber Security Awareness Session at Adarsh Vidyalaya Marathi Medium under its flagship initiative, "Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha." The program was organized with the objective of promoting digital literacy and creating awareness among students about safe and responsible online practices in today's technology-driven world.

The awareness session was conducted by trained Cyber Warriors from Patkar-Varde College, Vedant Ratnakar Gosavi and Sahil Sanjay Dhebe, who interacted with students through engaging discussions and practical examples. The session focused on helping students understand the importance of protecting their digital identity and making informed decisions while using the internet and social media platforms.

Students received guidance on several important cyber security topics, including data protection and privacy, identifying and avoiding online scams, safe and responsible use of social media, and cybercrime reporting procedures. Real-life examples of phishing attempts, fraudulent messages, and online threats were shared to help students recognize common cyber risks and understand the precautions they should take while browsing the internet or sharing personal information online.

The session was based on this year's campaign theme, "My Data, My Responsibility," highlighting the importance of taking ownership of personal data and following good cyber hygiene practices. Students were encouraged to create strong passwords, enable two-factor authentication wherever possible, verify suspicious links before clicking them, and immediately report any cyber-related incidents to trusted authorities.

The school administration appreciated the initiative and acknowledged the increasing need for cyber awareness among young students. They expressed their gratitude to Quick Heal Foundation and the student Cyber Warriors from Patkar-Varde College for conducting an informative and interactive awareness program that equipped students with practical knowledge to stay safe in the digital world.

Through initiatives such as Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha, Quick Heal Foundation and Patkar-Varde College continue to strengthen digital literacy and promote responsible online behavior among students. By empowering young minds with essential cyber security knowledge and practical skills, the initiative aims to create a safer and more secure digital environment for the next generation.
