KHUSHAB, Pakistan: August 17, 2026 Pakistan Organic Pink Salt has expanded its manufacturing operations across four facilities in Pakistan, strengthening its capacity to process Himalayan salt in different grades, grain sizes, and product formats for commercial and international markets. The move reflects the company's continued focus on organized salt processing and export readiness as demand for Pakistani Himalayan salt keeps growing across food, wellness, and other commercial applications.
The company's manufacturing process begins with raw rock salt sourced from the Salt Range region of Pakistan. Depending on the product specification, processing may include crushing, sorting, washing, drying, grinding, grading, and packaging. These steps allow the salt to be prepared in a range of formats, from fine and medium grains to coarse and chunk grades.
Running four manufacturing facilities allows the company to manage different processing activities and product requirements across its production network. Processing and grading are handled according to the characteristics each product line requires, while packaging is prepared to match commercial and market specifications.
The company's product portfolio includes Himalayan pink salt and other salt varieties used in food, culinary, and wellness applications, along with salt blocks, cooking slabs, salt lamps, and other salt-based items.
For international buyers, manufacturing capacity is only one part of the sourcing equation.
