CHEYENNE, Wyo. — August 9, 2026 — Jacob Logic Technology LLC has launched Tracetify, a competitor research tool designed to document how established products acquired their first users.

Most SEO and market-analysis products report a competitor's current traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink totals. Tracetify instead examines the earlier launch period. A user supplies a competitor's website address, and the system assembles a dated timeline from twelve public sources, including archived web pages, backlink history, community discussions, product listings, advertising libraries, and AI-assistant citations.

The tool is intended for founders and small teams assessing launch channels before committing marketing resources. A company with significant current traffic has the advantage of accumulated brand recognition and later-stage distribution. Tracetify focuses on earlier actions, such as an initial product listing, a community discussion, a partnership announcement, or a first group of referring links, that can be compared with a new product's own circumstances.

Each report identifies the source and date behind its findings. The report also distinguishes between evidence that was located and data sources that did not return material, so users can review the underlying public record rather than relying on an unsupported summary. The final section translates the dated timeline into three potential launch moves and associates each move with the underlying event and an estimated cost range.

The company developed Tracetify after repeatedly researching competitor launch histories across separate archives, backlinks, forum threads, and product directories. The process was time-consuming and did not fit the usual forward-looking reporting offered by established analytics products. Tracetify consolidates that evidence into one chronological research workflow.

The release comes as interest in competitor analysis has increased. DataForSEO Trends data shows search interest in the phrase “competitor analysis” rising from an index of 53 to 90 during the past twelve months. Fungies.io's 2026 indie developer market analysis reports that solo founders account for 36% of new startups, compared with 17% in 2017. CB Insights has identified poor product-market fit and bad timing as significant factors in startup failures, which can include selecting channels that do not match a product's early market.

Tracetify went live on August 3, 2026, and has published more than 30 public research reports during its first week. The product offers a limited trial and credit-based access for additional research activity.
