LAGOS, NIGERIA — October 20, 2026 — Hoberg Digital has launched Maji, a digital commerce platform designed to provide online storefronts for sellers and a purchasing platform for buyers in Nigeria.
The platform became publicly available on October 20 following its development and preparation by Hoberg Digital. The initial rollout is focused on the Nigerian market, with Lagos included in the platform’s early operating scope.
Maji allows eligible sellers to create online storefronts where they can present products to customers. Buyers can browse available products, view product information and complete purchases through the platform.
The platform includes seller storefronts, product listings, online checkout and payment processing. For physical products, buyers can select available delivery arrangements or choose to arrange fulfillment directly with the seller, depending on the order.
Maji is operated and developed by Hoberg Digital, a technology company based in Lagos. Goodluck Iyanu Ikehungu is the founder and CEO of Hoberg Digital and oversees the company’s product and technology direction.
The launch follows the company’s development and testing of Maji ahead of its public release. The platform is initially being introduced as a commerce service for Nigerian sellers and buyers, with further product development expected as the platform receives usage and feedback.
The launch also marks the first public availability of Maji as a consumer-facing product under the Hoberg Digital brand. The company has described the platform as part of its broader development of software and digital products.
