Guangdong Yashun Housing Technology Co., Ltd. has introduced an export documentation workflow for overseas modular housing projects, effective June 2026. The workflow is designed to help developers, contractors, distributors, and project teams organize technical information during the early planning, procurement, production, and shipment stages of light steel modular building projects.
The company is based in Guangdong, China, and has been involved in light steel structure and modular housing production since 2015. Its production activities are supported by facilities in Dongguan and Huizhou. The new workflow focuses on documentation that is commonly requested before and during overseas project cooperation, including material specifications, product descriptions, production records, quality inspection files, packing details, and container loading information.
According to Guangdong Yashun, many overseas modular housing projects require more than a basic product quotation. Project teams often need organized technical records to support internal review, procurement decisions, shipping preparation, and communication with engineers, consultants, or local project representatives. The updated workflow is intended to make this information easier to prepare and review before goods are shipped.
The documentation may cover wall systems, roof systems, insulation materials, doors, windows, interior finishing materials, exterior cladding options, anti-corrosion treatment, packaging methods, and loading arrangements. The company said the workflow will be applied according to the specific requirements of each project, rather than as a fixed package for every order.
The announcement comes as demand for prefabricated and modular building solutions continues to grow in residential construction, tourism accommodation, worker housing, rural development, emergency housing, and commercial building projects. Since beginning its export business in 2017, Guangdong Yashun has worked with customers in regions including the Americas, Oceania, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Guangdong Yashun’s product range includes light steel modular houses, prefabricated steel structure buildings, flat pack container houses, foldable container houses, expandable container houses, A-frame cabins, apple modular tiny houses, labor camp buildings, and customized modular building solutions. These products can be configured according to project budget, building use, climate conditions, transportation method, and on-site installation requirements.
For overseas projects, the company also clarified its role in relation to certification and approval procedures. Guangdong Yashun does not directly handle project certification, green building rating, or local government approval procedures. These processes are normally managed by developers, project owners, sustainability teams, design consultants, or local professional organizations according to the requirements of the project location.
Instead, Guangdong Yashun provides supporting information that may be needed by project teams and assessors. This may include technical data, material specifications, production records, quality inspection documents, packaging information, and container loading details. These materials can help project teams organize submissions, explain material choices, and prepare project documentation more clearly.
The company stated that its light steel modular building work continues to focus on wind and seismic resistance, fire protection, thermal insulation, waterproofing, and anti-corrosion performance. Shipment arrangements can be coordinated through major ports in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Nansha, and Dongguan.
