The program aims to assist non-profit and community-focused organizations in establishing a digital presence without incurring standard development or server expenses.
Under the terms of the initiative, selected organizations will receive a custom-designed, single-page website optimized for mobile devices and search engines. The package includes a welcome section detailing the organization's mission, an informational area for goals and history, a photo gallery, and a contact form. Unlike standard industry practices where hosting fees commence after an initial promotional period, CREATIVO utilizes Cloudflare Pages to provide permanent, zero-cost hosting for the lifespan of the website. The only required expenditure for participating organizations is the annual registration of a domain name, which typically costs between ten and fifteen pounds. An optional monthly maintenance plan is available for organizations requiring regular content updates, though it is not a prerequisite for participation.
The initiative addresses a common operational challenge for grassroots organizations, which often lack the allocated budget required for professional web design. Tomasz Kolpaczek, the founder of CREATIVO, stated that the program was developed to support community entities that perform essential local work but struggle with digital visibility. Kolpaczek noted that many charities and CICs execute valuable community projects but lack the technical infrastructure to communicate their efforts to potential volunteers, donors, and beneficiaries. The initiative is designed to remove this specific technical barrier.
Eligibility for the program is restricted to formally registered entities. Organizations must possess a valid Charity Commission number or a Companies House registration number to verify their non-profit or CIC status. The application process requires the submission of these registration details alongside a brief overview of the organization's operational focus. To maintain development quality alongside standard commercial operations, the studio processes a limited number of pro bono projects each month.
CREATIVO previously completed a similar pro bono project for NovaPolonia, a Community Interest Company supporting the Polish diaspora in the United Kingdom. The current initiative expands this model to a broader range of charitable and community-focused sectors across the UK.
