MELBOURNE, VIC — Antrick Health Academy has opened a purpose-built health and allied health training campus at 525 Flinders Street in Melbourne's CBD.
Antrick Education Pty Ltd, trading as Antrick Health Academy (RTO 41572), has opened a new training campus at 525 Flinders Street, Melbourne. The facility, located on Level 5 of a 10-level commercial building on Melbourne's Northbank, brings together clinical training, simulation-based learning and contemporary classrooms in a single location overlooking the Yarra River and the Southbank precinct. The campus is intended to support the development of work-ready graduates for Australia's health and allied health sectors.
Leadership and clinical direction
The project has been led by Tony Yeung, Chief Operating Officer of Antrick Education, who has experience in Australian and international education spanning vocational and higher education, strategic leadership, compliance and transnational education partnerships.
He worked alongside Dimity Leech, Chief Executive Officer of Antrick Education, a registered nurse and biochemical scientist with experience in vocational health education.
Dr Joe Juhasz, an Australian general practitioner and AFL Masters Hall of Fame figure, has contributed to the Academy's clinical direction. The leadership team states that the campus has been designed to develop technical capability alongside communication skills, professionalism and professional responsibility.
Facilities and design
The building was originally designed by architectural firm Peddle Thorp and has been refurbished to accommodate health education. The campus includes purpose-built clinical and simulation spaces, modern classrooms, study areas and collaborative learning environments. Interior design was developed in partnership with ChadandWick, combining clinical functionality with contemporary aesthetics.
The riverfront location provides access to Melbourne's transport network, including Southern Cross Station. Melbourne developers Bill McNee and Joe Cairns brought commercial property and development experience to the project, which involved collaboration across property development, design, construction and education.
"This campus is more than just a place to study — it is a sanctuary for learning," said Tony Yeung, Chief Operating Officer of Antrick Education. "Every element has been carefully considered, from the clinical training environments to the learning spaces and interior design. We are grateful to the partners, designers, developers, builders and our entire team who helped bring this vision to life."
Industry context
As Australia's healthcare sector continues to evolve, demand for skilled and work-ready professionals remains significant. The campus represents an investment in health and allied health education and in the development of future healthcare professionals. Antrick Health Academy states that the facility has been designed with the student experience in mind, from clinical simulation spaces to collaborative learning areas.
The opening of 525 Flinders Street marks a new chapter for Antrick Health Academy, providing an environment where students can learn, practise and prepare for careers across Australia's healthcare sector.
