AdvaHealth receives FDA 510(k) clearance for AdvaView, a cloud-native, zero-footprint diagnostic viewer for medical imaging organizations.

AdvaHealth Solutions today announced that it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for the sale and distribution of AdvaView, its cloud-native and zero-footprint diagnostic viewer.
Building upon AdvaHealth’s established FDA-cleared healthcare software, the AdvaView FDA clearance reflects the company’s continued investment in regulatory quality as medical device requirements evolve. It also marks an important milestone as AdvaHealth expands its medical imaging platform for radiologists and imaging organizations in the United States.
AdvaView provides diagnostic viewing through browser-based, zero-footprint architecture, eliminating the need to install and maintain client software across individual workstations. This allows radiologists to access a consistent viewing environment across reading rooms, home offices, and distributed reading locations.
The viewer supports diagnostic imaging workflows across different reading environments. Its capabilities include multi-monitor reading, relevant prior study access, hanging protocols, measurement and annotation tools, multi-planar reconstruction, and 3D visualization.
AdvaView brings diagnostic viewing into a unified workflow with the AdvaPACS platform, connecting image management, radiology workflow, and enterprise imaging capabilities in one environment.
The browser-based approach allows imaging organizations to extend access to additional reading locations while reducing the need to deploy and maintain viewer software across individual workstations. AdvaView is designed to operate as part of the wider AdvaHealth imaging environment, alongside the image management and workflow capabilities provided through AdvaPACS.
AdvaHealth plans to showcase AdvaView alongside AdvaPACS at RSNA 2026, Booth 2968, in Chicago. The event will provide attendees with an opportunity to see the diagnostic viewing workflow and its integration with the broader AdvaHealth imaging platform.
