TALLINN, Estonia — 11 September 2026 — Stay at Spa, an Estonia-based travel company, has launched its online booking platform for spa and wellness hotels. The company is headquartered in Tallinn and is initially operating in European markets.

The launch marks the start of Stay at Spa's commercial operations following the development of its booking platform. The website provides information on participating hotels and their available spa and wellness facilities and allows users to make accommodation bookings.

The company is focusing on a defined segment of the hotel market rather than general accommodation. Its initial hotel selection includes properties offering facilities such as spas, thermal pools, saunas and wellness treatments.

“Spa and wellness is an established part of the hospitality market, and we saw an opportunity to build a business specifically around this segment,” said Taavi Tammpere, founder of Stay at Spa. “The launch gives us the opportunity to test the model in the market and develop the platform based on actual demand.”

Initial focus on Europe

Stay at Spa is beginning its operations in Europe, where spa and thermal tourism has a long history. The region includes established markets such as Central European thermal destinations, Nordic spa and sauna markets, and resort areas in Southern Europe.

The company will initially concentrate on expanding its network of participating hotels and increasing the number of destinations available through the platform.

The first operating period will also allow the company to evaluate booking activity and demand across different markets and types of spa accommodation. This information will be used in decisions about further expansion of the platform and its hotel network.

Start of commercial operations

The platform's launch follows a development phase focused on building the website, hotel listings and booking functionality.

Stay at Spa will now operate the platform commercially while continuing to develop its hotel network and technical infrastructure. The company has not announced a specific timetable for expansion beyond its initial European focus.

The platform is currently available at stayatspa.com.
