Today, SiteTrust announced that SiteTrust Consent, the company’s consent management platform (CMP), has been approved by IAB Europe and registered in its Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). SiteTrust Consent passed IAB Europe’s CMP validation, was approved on October 15, 2026, and is listed as CMP ID 519.

SiteTrust Consent is the consent banner and consent management platform that SiteTrust provides to the websites it works with. It presents visitors with privacy choices, records those choices, and makes sure tracking tools on the site respect them. SiteTrust pairs it with recurring website scans that check whether tracking technologies load before a visitor gives consent and whether a site discloses its use of AI.

To be listed in the TCF, a CMP must pass IAB Europe’s validation, which checks that its implementation follows the framework’s policies and technical specifications. As a registered CMP, SiteTrust Consent can now create and pass on the standardised consent signal that publishers and their advertising and measurement partners use across the European online industry.

The TCF was launched by IAB Europe in April 2018 as a cross-industry voluntary standard. It helps publishers and technology vendors comply with provisions of the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive by giving users a consistent way to grant or withhold consent and to exercise their right to object.

The approval is the first step in SiteTrust’s expansion into Europe. The company plans to begin with the United Kingdom, where it expects to launch before the end of 2026, and will offer SiteTrust Consent to UK websites as part of that launch.

“Europe set the bar for consent, and we wanted SiteTrust Consent measured against it,” said Vinnie Fisher, Founder and CEO of SiteTrust. “IAB Europe’s approval confirms that our consent records work inside the framework that publishers and their technology partners already rely on. It is the foundation for bringing SiteTrust to European websites, starting in the UK.”
