The Creative Business Cup 2026 will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on August 26-27, 2026, during TechBBQ at the Bella Center. The annual global competition brings together creative startups from over 80 countries to compete for the title of "World's Best Creative Startup" and to connect with investors, mentors, and industry leaders.
The event is organized by the Creative Business Network and serves as a platform for innovation and cross-sector collaboration. Attendees will join an audience of more than 10,000 participants at TechBBQ, gaining access to over 1,700 venture capitalists and investors. The competition provides a pathway into Nordic and European markets through pitch opportunities, expert coaching, and networking sessions.
The Creative Business Cup has a 13-year history, with national competitions held worldwide that culminate in the Global Finals in Copenhagen. The competition is open to entrepreneurs whose core business asset is in creative competencies and who can demonstrate commercial market potential. Represented industries include advertising, architecture, design, experience technologies, fashion, software, and more. Previous global winners include NEBESYS from Czechia, Photio from Chile, and RAIKU from Estonia.
Event highlights include pitch training and coaching with expert Gleb Maltsev on the morning of August 26. On August 27, from 15:00 to 17:30, attendees can join the "Welcome to CBC 2026" session featuring a keynote by investor Sarthak Ahuja, followed by the Creative Business Cup Denmark. The Global Finals competition and a special "Creativity & AI" session are scheduled for August 27.
Participants will enjoy free entry to TechBBQ at the Bella Center, connecting with a wide range of investors. Selected startups will have the opportunity to continue their journey into European markets with the Impact Festival in September and the Internationalisation Academy in October.
