DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — COMO Residences, the luxury residential tower on Palm Jumeirah, has been named Best High-Rise Project of the Year at the 2026 Architecture Leaders Awards. The award was presented at a ceremony held on 24 June at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. Benjelloun & Partners served as design architect on the project, with Dubai Holding Real Estate and Nakheel as developer.
COMO Residences occupies a prominent position on the Palm Jumeirah waterfront and has drawn sustained attention across the Dubai luxury property market. The tower's penthouse sold for AED 500 million, the most expensive penthouse ever sold in Dubai according to Dubai Land Department records, and ranks among the most expensive residential sales recorded worldwide. The penthouse spans approximately 21,949 square feet. The project reflects the practice's focus on residential design shaped by human experience and a strong sense of place.
The recognition marks the second consecutive year in which a tower designed by Benjelloun & Partners has been honoured at the Architecture Leaders Awards. In 2025, Solara Tower — a sculptural residential high-rise in the Downtown Dubai district — received the Innovation in Architecture Award. In the same year, the firm was recognised as a Workplace of the Year and received eight nominations in total, spanning categories that included boutique practice and luxury project recognition. Taken together, the two years represent back-to-back recognition for the firm's design work on landmark residential towers in Dubai.
